Any screen showing the script to someone: a monitor on a second output, an iPad behind a beam-splitter, an iPhone on a stand, a laptop across the room. Each one is one screen. Individual includes two.
The machine you run the show from is your operator controller, and it never counts against the allowance. Remotes are counted separately from screens: Individual includes one phone as a remote, Pro is unlimited on both.
So a full Individual rig is your laptop running the show, the talent's iPad and a confidence monitor as the two screens, and your phone in your hand as the remote. Need a second remote for a floor manager, or a third screen for a green room? That's Pro.
Shows, scripts, imports, markers and notes are unlimited on Individual and Pro alike, and unlimited during the 7-day trial. There is no storage quota and no cap on how many shows you keep.
Where they live is the difference. Individual keeps scripts in the browser on the machine you write them on. Pro saves them to your account, so the same library opens on any machine you sign in on, and on every machine your team uses. If two machines change the same script at the same time, Castrix keeps both — the second arrives as a clearly named conflicted copy, and nothing is lost.
One Pro capability is still in build. It is not in Castrix today, it does not carry a date yet, and every Pro subscriber gets it at no extra cost on the day it ships.

Count the screens that will show the script. Two or fewer — a talent iPad and a confidence monitor, say — and Individual covers it. More than two, or a rig that grows show to show, and Pro is the one. Count your remotes too: Individual includes one, Pro is unlimited. Then ask where your scripts should live: Individual keeps them on the machine you write them on; Pro keeps them in your account, opens them on any machine you sign in on, and shares them with a team.
All but one, and here is exactly where things stand. Everything in the Individual column works today, on every plan. On the Pro side, unlimited screens, unlimited remotes, the cloud script library, multi-user accounts and priority support are live now.

A Pro account owner creates a team from the dashboard and invites people by email. Each invitation is a link; the person accepts it with their existing Castrix account or creates one on the spot. From then on everyone on the team works from one shared script library — the owner's — each with their own login. Scripts sync through the owner's account, so a change made on one machine appears on the others. Pro has no seat limit, and nobody you invite is charged. A free trial can form a team of up to 3 people, owner included, to try it.
Scripts a member already had on their own machine stay there and are never merged into the team library. Leaving a team, or being removed from one, deletes nothing. If two people change the same script at the same time, the later save arrives as a clearly named conflicted copy rather than overwriting anyone's work.
Yes, from your dashboard. An upgrade takes effect straight away — you see the exact prorated charge for the rest of the current period before you confirm. A downgrade or cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep everything until then. No email needed.
No. The 7-day trial runs every feature with no screen limit and no credit card. It's the whole studio, so you can test your actual rig before you pick a plan.
Pro emails go to the front of the queue and get answered before standard ones. It is a support commitment, not a guaranteed response time — see the Terms of Service for what we do and don't warrant.
Access runs to the end of the period you've already paid for. Cancelling deletes nothing. Moving down from Pro to Individual is the one case with a deadline: Individual keeps scripts on your own machine, so we hold your cloud library for 30 days from the day the plan changes, remind you while the window is open, and then delete it permanently — or immediately, the moment you download it. Yearly plans are refundable in full within 14 days of the first charge. The details are in the Terms of Service.
